The goals of the NEMLAR Network Group is the advancement of Arabic language technology, the production and availability of shareable language resources and tools, and the collaboration between experts from different countries towards these goals.

One of the methods in the pursuit of collaborating and advancing Arabic language technology and the availability of Arabic language resources, is to create and maintain a network of specialists who share our goals. We want to extend the network to all interested parties, i.e. everyone who wants to contribute to our goals and everyone who is interested in following the development in Arabic language resources.

We have decided to reconstruct the way the NEMLAR Network is working in order to make it easier for the members to share information and make contact. We have therefore created the NEMLAR Network group in LinkedIn. The Network is open to all experts in the field of Arabic language technology who share our goals. It is the intention that all members can use the network to discuss new activities, find partners etc.
